Enhance the connectivity of your Thunderbolt 3 or USB Type-C Windows or Mac system with the SIIG Thunderbolt 3 Dual DP 4K Video Docking Station, designed to provide comprehensive expansion and Power Delivery. This versatile dock is equipped with dual DisplayPort 1.2 outputs, supporting multiple display configurations, including 4K and 5K resolutions, depending on the host connection.
The dock features two 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C ports that support charging, one 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A port with BC 1.2 charging capability, and two 5 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports with charging support. It also includes a Gigabit Ethernet port and a 3.5mm headphone/mic combo jack, providing a comprehensive connectivity solution. Connection to your host system is via an included Thunderbolt 3 cable, utilizing its 40 Gb/s bandwidth and delivering up to 60W of power for charging devices like laptops and smartphones.
The dual DisplayPort configuration allows for driving up to two external displays with varying resolutions when connected to a Thunderbolt 3 host, supporting one 5K @ 60 Hz display or dual 4K @ 60 Hz displays. For hosts supporting USB Type-C with DP Alt mode, it can drive one 4K @ 30 Hz display or dual 1080p @ 60 Hz displays. Note that connecting to a USB 3.1 Gen 1 host will limit USB ports to 5 Gb/s and DisplayPort outputs to 1080p support.
