The LulzBot Mini ABS+ Enclosure by Printed Solid is designed to work with the LulzBot Mini 2 and Mini 1 3D printers. Made of clear, lightweight 3mm thick extruded acrylic and rugged ABS panels, assembly and installation is straightforward. All necessary hardware is included, such as the four 3D printed corner brackets. It provides an enclosed space to minimize warping and cracking for filaments that have high shrink rates, such as ABS, Nylons (Polyamides), and Polycarbonates. The enclosure also helps for printing in cold and drafty environments. For classrooms, the enclosure prevent students from touching heated and moving parts of your 3D printer.
Please note that you will need a 2 mm hex driver and a 2.5 mm hex driver to complete the assembly. Depending on your skill level, it make take between 1 to 2 hours to complete.
Please note that acrylic can easily crack so do not over tighten the screws. When cleaning, use dish soap or hand wash and a soft, clean cloth. Do not use glass cleaning solutions, a hard sponge, a scrub, or anything with an abrasive surface.
