This bus-powered cable supports up to 2.5W using the host connection. For devices requiring more power, the integrated Type-A power connector can be used to provide additional power from an available source. A locking female connector features a slot port for convenient cable tie mounting. Please note, this USB cable is not backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 protocols.
