In addition to a steel frame, the Core X71 utilizes a tempered glass left-side panel. Furthermore, the interior of the case uses a modular design and is split into two separate chambers, with the power supply occupying the lower chamber and drive cages, cooling, and other components in the upper chamber. When placing a PSU in the lower chamber, an 8-pin extension cable may be required. A GPU support bracket is included, allowing users to install a side-mounted GPU when also using an optional PCIe riser cable. The front panel of the case features a mesh design for optimized airflow, and the top of the front panel sports an I/O panel that includes two USB 3.1 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0 ports, as well as individual 3.5mm audio input and output ports.
