Using a 1 RU form factor, this SurgeArrest is designed for easy installation in a server rack. A circuit breaker switch on the front panel sits next to an on/off power switch, which controls the eight rear outlets. The ninth outlet, a front convenience outlet, is not connected to this on/off switch. A ground screw is present on the rear panel and included cord management rails can be installed to prevent undue strain on outlets while keeping power cables organized. Alongside the cord management rails, the APC 9-Outlet SurgeArrest comes with mounting brackets and plug pull protectors.
