Designed to extend or mirror content from a laptop screen, this docking station features HDMI and DVI outputs, and also supports VGA connections with an included adapter. Connecting to your laptop via a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A male plug, the UD-3900 provides two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports and another four USB 2.0 ports for peripherals and other accessories. An RJ45 port is also present, supporting Gigabit Ethernet, while two discrete 1/8" jacks provide mic input and audio output.
Running on the DisplayLink DL-3900 chipset, the Plugable UD-3900 supports resolutions up to 2560 x 1440 on a single monitor using a High Speed HDMI cable, available separately. If connecting to dual monitors, this dock supports individual screen resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, or a total resolution of 3840 x 1200. Running on DC power, this dock comes with a power adapter. Compatible with Windows XP and later, the UD-3900 requires a dual core Intel or AMD CPU with a clock speed of 2.0 GHz or higher, and 2GB or more of RAM. Host GPUs must be Intel, AMD, or NVIDIA with WDDM. Please note, while bus-powered USB drives are compatible with this dock, it does not support power delivery to tablets, phones, or other devices.
